At Collins, Home Run Inn is our favorite Hot Lunch vendor for a myriad of reasons. First, our contact, Marty, is wonderful to work with. He is very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Secondly, and just as important, the kids love the food and Home Run Inn offers a large selection of entrees and nutritious sides to go with the meal. As a hot lunch volunteer, I love the fact that they sort the food selection by classroom so most of the work is already done for us and basically all we have to do is deliver the boxes to the classrooms. The food is all delivered at one time in a heated truck so we never have to worry about it being delivered too early because we need to sort or the second delivery being late since we only have a half hour between deliveries. Working with Home Run Inn is really a treat. They make Hot Lunch days a lot easier.
Our top seller is of course pizza pizza pizza.
We have only two lunch forms, but accept three payments on a trimester
basis to make it easier on the parents' checkbook. The initial hot lunch
form is for the first trimester and the second form is for the remainder
of the year. Parents can pay for the second form in one or two installments.

What a great way to start the year! If you could drop off some business
cards from your shop - I had several teachers ask how they could order
for their own home events!

I will put in a good word for Home Run Inn! I am the President of the
PTA at Dooley and our Fun Lunch Chairperson, Judy Brown, has been using
Home Run Inn this year (about every other time) and the food has been
fantastic! It has been hot, delicious, and healthier for the kids with
the edition of the corn on the cob and the food being less greasy and
in kid portion sizes! It is a hit with the kids and with the parents.
I don't just hear it from the kids - I can see it on their faces that
they like the food because I a lunch mom too. Thank you for listening
to the ideas about healthier choices and putting it into action.
