I have always been of the opinion that I should let someone know when they have done something really outstanding. To you and the people at Home Run Inn, congratulations on making what I and my wife consider the best, most consistently excellent pizzas in the grocery stores. We first tried a sample at the story on one of their "get acquainted" sample stands a few months ago. Wow! Excellent! From that time we have skipped any other brands, even the fresh-made to order in the stores, in favor of your frozen pizzas. I've been making and enjoying pizzas for sixty years, and I can't beat yours. Perfect sauce, in just the right amount, fresh tasting spices, top quality meat and cheese, --- not much more to say but thank you. If you ever need someone to plug your products, count on me.

When I first moved to the Twin Cities, my biggest fear was that I would not be able to partake of that culinary delight known and loved by all Chicagoans...the pizza.

Be it thin crust ~ deep dish ~ with "the works" ~ or just plain 'ole cheese, a pizza is something that warms the heart and pleases the taste buds. What ever else could be so versital whether served with wine (red or white), beer or a soda? Chicago's Home Run Inn pizza is even better than many of the pizzas that I can order out for here in Saint Paul MN. Now that says a lot!

I've never been disappointed, in fact I can always count on quality when I purchase a Home Run Inn pizza from the grocery store. I think the reason is because the pizza is lightly toasted and then carefully packaged that helps hold the integrity of the quality ingredients which go into each and every pizza. I can't even think of a pizza manufacturer who went that extra mile, even back home in Chi-Town. That must be a crux of the 'frozen' pizza situation. One does not get the idea or feeling that a Home Run Inn's pizza was ever manufactured.

All this home-sick Chicagoan can say is keep up the great work! I've read the testimonials posted at your sight and there's more than just one little home-girl that certainly expresses the same.

Also, my parrot Ricki happens to adore Home Run Inn pizza. He will keep saying over and over again " Do ya want some? Do ya want some? " until he gets his own little piece.

I thought I would take a minute to let you know how much my wife and I love your product. I saw that your area was marketing so I hope this is the right place for this message.

First I have never taken the time to give feedback for a product but after trying your pizza I felt I had to. If you all take the time to make such a quality and delicious pizza I thought I could take some time to tell you how good it is.

There is a nice story as to how I found out about your pizza and I thought I would share it with your company. First of all my wife is from Chicago, Cicero to be exact. We currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. One day I purchased one of your frozen pizzas which at the time was new to the area. My wife was busy working from home that day and was quite preoccupied with her work. I had made your pizza (pepperoni) and put a plate next to her. After a short time she turned from her chair and said "this pizza is better than delivery, what kind is it?" I said it is Home Run. Then it happened. She went crazy! She asked "Home Run Inn?" I went and got the box and the memories came right back to her. She let me know that your pizza is the ONLY pizza her family misses having moved out of the Chicago area.

Since then we have spread the word about how good your pizza really is. Family and friends have been buying it ever since. It is the only frozen pizza we will serve if people come over for a relaxing evening or if there is a game on or mostly for ourselves.

So good work and you have customers for as long as you keep making great pizzas.

Congratulations on being the #1 winner in the best of 2006 pizza places in Chicago. I've been telling people that for years. Grew up not far from 31st St. Played tennis at the courts down the street and ran into the "bar" for a pizza often. Was so excited many many years ago when I discovered a frozen HRI. I'm 59 and still recall my childhood pizzas on 31st. My family & I are now restaurant patrons and still think you are the best! Thanks for a wonderful experience over the past multitude of years. Home Run Inn is by far the best frozen pizza our family has EVER had. We are originally from NY and appreciate great pizza. It's hard enough to find great fresh pizza in NC let alone frozen, but to be honest...yours is our favorite and always in the freezer... Your frozen pizza is flat out the best frozen pizza I've ever eaten. In fact, it's so good it doesn't seem to be frozen pizza. It's like eating good restaurant pizza. I've asked my wife to buy nothing else from now on. Please don't ever change anything.

I bought one of your supreme pizzas at Schnuck's. It flat knocked my sox off. Not only that but I shared my 32 oz. pie with co-workers and their feet got naked too. I never heard of your establishment or products until a recent visit to Harris Teeter. My wife and I got two of your pizzas and had one of them last night. This is REAL pizza, complete with SAUCE! Presently, no frozen or chain pizzamaker has this amount of sauce, most of it having been removed over the years. We couldn't stop commenting on the flavor and crust as we split that 12" Pepperoni pizza. Looking forward to more of the same and we'll spread the word here. Thanks.

I have purchased your pizza several times and must say it is the best "box" pizza I have tried. I have had other very good pizzas, however greed or over confidence pushed them to change and cheapen the pizza. Your pizza has a great zesty sauce and a hard to beat thin crust. Don't change it and I will stop my pizza take out and stay with Home Run Inn boxed pizzas.

I like the fact that it doesn't look or taste the same as the other pizza we buy other than the fact that it is simply wonderful. Sometimes you just don't feel like going out to eat so you pop in a frozen pizza. By chance, I grabbed a Home Run Inn Pizza out of the freezer case at the local grocery store. Was going to put it back and grab one of the cardboard saucers I usually buy. Figured, I'd give it a try as long as I had it in hand. Perfect!! With pizza it's all about the crust. Man, you guys got it right, and it's a frozen pizza. Go figure. You have any idea how many perfectly lousy pizzas I've eaten at home. You definitely hit a Home Run Inn.

While growing up in Pittsburgh, I had an aunt who lived in Chicago that I visited on summers. The highlight of every trip was a Cubs game or a Blackhawk's game followed by a trip to Home Run Inn for a big pie. It's been over 10 years since I've experienced that treat, and I found a frozen pizza at my local grocers in Raleigh, NC [Harris Teeter] that had a pie bearing your name. I had to try it, and boy was I surprised to find out that it was the same quality that I experienced in downtown Chicago! I've been buying them ever since, and look forward to enjoying a pie after a long ride on my bicycle or an 8 mile run. The fact that you do not add any additional fillers or preservatives is a plus as well, which brings out the great taste of all the components of the pizza.

Please bare with me while I relate my experience with Home Run Inn. In 1960 I lived in Chicago and worked at Midway airport. On many occasions I went to your restaurant with my friends. Then after my military service I moved back to my home town, Denver Colorado. I went to work for United Airlines. I mentioned to my friends how I had gone to your restaurant for the best pizza I had ever had. Well we decided to make a trip of it and show my friends just how good your pizza is. We would catch a flight to Chicago in the morning and go to your restaurant in the afternoon. They agreed that you are the best. We would then return that night. We made this trip many times. I am now retired, but still love pizza. But not out of the box, only fresh. Then the other day I was at the grocery store. (King Soopers). There I saw in the frozen food section, Home Run Inn Pizza. I thought no way could it be as good as at your restaurant. I bought some and to my surprise it was just as good. Not quite like a beer and a pizza at your restaurant. Many good times were had at your establishment.
